Por esta época eran uno de los primeros años como dj, productor y cerebro detrás del house en Detroit; el 97′ fue peculiarmente grandioso para Theo parrish y particularmente para los amantes de su música. Realizo 6 lanzamientos: Moonlight Music & You, When The Morning Comes, Took Me All The Way Back, Smile, Musical Metaphors (en este ultimo con material del tamaño de JB’s edit; en el cual Theo mostró su talento innato para los re-edits. Talento que después confirmaría con sus famosos Ugly edits), por ultimo y mas importante lanzamiento Three Chairs (el cual junto algunos hombres como Rick Wilhite & Kenny Dixon Jr aka Moodymann crearon la unión-etiqueta que representa de manera mas fiel el sonido house de Detroit, que perdura hoy en día tras la adición al grupo de Marcellus Pittman).
En este set tendremos el placer de escuchar un hombre con una mezcla diferente a lo que nos tiene acostumbrado hoy en día (Funk, Soul, Disco); iniciando con Detroit en su estado puro, transportándonos durante el tiempo de juego a matices mas Souful y Chicago. enjoy!
